New classical albums, 31st March 2023
This week has seen the release of Apple Music Classical, which I've been very much enjoying despite a few bugs and hard-to-justify limitations of being iPhone-only. Unfortunately, however, this morning's new releases don't yet appear in the "New Releases" category in the specialist classical app but have instead been taken from the main Apple Music app.
Here is what I've selected from today's new releases:
- Beyond Kafala - EP by Maximilian Wolfgang Schwarz
- We'll Meet Again by Anders Banke, Danish National Vocal Ensemble, Janne Fredens and Søren Rastogi
- PRISMA - EP by Goldmund Quartet
- Obscurus by Harry Rylance and Lucy Humphris
- Vitamin C by James Rhodes
- Live at the British Library by Academy of St Martin in the Fields, Oliver Zeffman, Peter Donohoe and The Bach Choir
- Néo-Romance by Alexandra Stréliski
- Rachmaninoff: Symphony No. 2; Prélude in C-Sharp Minor by John Wilson and Sinfonia of London
- Visages baroques by Raphaël Feuillâtre
- Mozart: Ecstasy & Abyss [LEIPZIG, 1789] by Martin Fröst and Swedish Chamber Orchestra
